Voices from the last Roots retreat.
The Roots & Resilience retreat in Kelani was simply wonderful. The organization was top-notch, and the welcoming, family-like atmosphere was especially lovely. The location is fantastic — next door is the wonderful Meraki, which serves excellent coffee and snacks and has a beautiful yoga shala. The beach is within walking distance. I felt completely at home. They gave us valuable tips about everything nearby — bike and scooter rentals, laundry, restaurants, the way to the beach, snorkeling trips. We would love to come back.
Katarina BöttcherRoots & Resilience 2025I had an amazing week at Kelani Retreats. The house is beautiful, and the outdoor yoga shala is absolutely stunning. The Roots & Resilience retreat with Mia was exactly what I needed. The yoga sessions and workshops were inspiring, and everything was thoughtfully organised. Madiha is a lovely spot in Sri Lanka, with great coffee bars and the beach just a short walk away. I highly recommend this place!
